Peoria Journal Star: The Spot coffee truck finds its first permanent spot in North Peoria

The Spot coffee truck has built up a deep reservoir of customers since it first began roaming the Peoria area in the fall of 2016 serving gourmet coffee and pastries. The colorful trailer can be seen at fundraisers, special events or any local business that partners with The Spot and is always a popular stop at the Peoria Riverfront Market.

Now it will have a permanent location in North Peoria beginning in February. The Spot’s brick and mortar digs will be in the Prairie Lakes Crossing development off North Knoxville Avenue in a store formerly occupied by Maui Wowi Smoothies. With a number of coffee shops clustered around the Downtown Peoria area, a cozy place on the opposite side of town made sense.
